Dignity4Girls brings the love of Christ to women and girls by sewing and distributing the Days
for Girls feminine hygiene kits to at-risk communities and educating about the dangers of FGC
(feminine genital cutting). D4G also supports the development of empowerment programs in
Kenya and Liberia that grant dignity and independence. In-country sewing enterprises enable
women and girls to sew pads and garments. D4G’s hen and goat sponsorship program provides
crucial nourishment for families while the Kenyan hen farm raises money through the sale of
eggs.
D4G invites US sewers to engage in sewing sustainable feminine pads. Currently, three NID
congregations offer opportunities to sew and pack personal hygiene kits.
